I read this magazine about 12 years ago and it was very cute and informative. It is certainly not for girls older than 12 or 13, but for a girl who wants a first magazine or is not yet ready for the shallow reads like Seventeen ("lyke omgggggg boizzzz").
Also, I don't know why Amazon does not monitor their review pages, but they need to do something about that annoying little child that writes "A Kids Review." There are about 30 from the same person for this product and you will find them for many other products on here as well. People come to Amazon to purchase things, not hang out. If you are not here to buy something, then leave.
